About

Who is Richard L. Brenner?

Richard is a Lafayette College graduate with a B.A. in Economics and Business. He has spent more than 25 years helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s biggest financial decisions with confidence and clarity. Specializing in federal retirement planning, Rich has dedicated his career to educating federal employees on the benefits they have worked hard to earn and helping them understand how those benefits fit into their overall retirement picture.

Known for his personalized approach, Rich believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” retirement strategy. Every client’s goals, family situation, and financial concerns are different, which is why he takes the time to truly listen and create customized strategies tailored to each individual. Whether discussing FEHB, Medicare, TSP options, annuity income planning, survivor benefits, or legacy planning, Rich focuses on making complex topics easier to understand without pressure or rushed conversations. He works with clients from all 50 states and even federal employees abroad.

Clients appreciate that meetings with Rich are built around education, transparency, and real conversations — not sales presentations. Some meetings may take 15 minutes, while others may take two hours, because retirement planning deserves careful attention and thoughtful guidance.

Through RL Brenner & Associates, Rich continues to help federal employees, retirees, and families feel more prepared for the future by providing personalized support, long-term relationships, and strategies designed around what matters most to them.
